Mount Keira stands proudly on the sacred lands of the Wodi Wodi people, its distinctive shape commanding a watchful presence over the Illawarra region.
Each morning, as you gaze toward the escarpment, Mount Keira greets you with a sense of comfort and tranquility, offering a timeless connection to the land.
It’s colours change throughout the day as light and weather cast shadows, highlighting its ridges and slopes. The essence of these features are captured in the use of blues and greens. With the sandstone tones reminding us of the geology of the region.
This is a piece invites us to sit and view Mt. Keira from different angles and find something new upon each viewing.
